Hi, I’m May—the creator and dreamer behind Cloud Theory.
My marshmallow journey began when I moved from the USA to a quiet farm nestled in the Adelaide Hills. Surrounded by the beauty of eucalyptus trees and vineyards, I fell in love with the simple joy of roasting marshmallows over an open fire on crisp autumn nights. There was something so nostalgic, comforting, and a little bit magical about it.
One evening, I found myself wondering… how are these fluffy little clouds actually made? That question sparked an obsession that led me to my kitchen, where I whisked and whipped and made marshmallow in flavours I had only dreamed of.
From there, things took off. I began selling at local markets, meeting people who shared my love of sweets, whimsy, and beautiful design. What started as a passion project quickly evolved into a brand that’s now spreading joy across Australia and beyond.
Cloud Theory is my love letter to all things marshmallow - from gourmet cubes and favour boxes to DIY kits and sweet surprises. Every product is made with joy, creativity, and care.
